An alumna of the Austin Waldorf School, Jas grew up immersed in Waldorf culture. She holds a Master's Degree from Johns Hopkins University and has a professional background in project management and program administration.
With a background in education, school psychology, research, and child development, Naazneen brings a broad expertise to our administrative team. She enjoys sharing the great outdoors with her two daughters.
A certified Master Naturalist and avid crafter, Tammy holds a BS degree in Mathematics from the University of Vermont, as well as a BS degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Kennesaw State University. She has taught in the Cobb County school system as well as private schools. She has three teenage children, including her oldest daughter who attended a Waldorf style preschool in New Hampshire.
Lee is a passionate and energetic environmental educator with a background in the Reggio Emilia approach. He has 5 years of experience working with young children. He holds a Bachelor's degree in marine biology and a Master's degree in alternative medicine. He has nearly a decade of experience in enviornmental conservation, and a lifetime of commitment to the priciples of child-centered, nature-based education. Angela holds a BA in music and a MS in education. She is a Master Naturalist who has completed numerous trainings in environmental education. For the past 7 years, Elizabeth has been homeschooling her children using a Waldorf-inspired curriculum. She has a deep love for nature and enjoys sharing this love with others. She has taught wild plant identification classes for children and adults. Elizabeth also makes and sells tinctures, salves, and natural care products.
Ben Ereddia has a degree in music education and has been teaching piano for over 15 years. He has experience on a wide variety of instruments, both teaching and playing.. He is the author of a music composition curriculum that takes the children on magical quests. The students must write songs in order to progress through the quest. This process is a highly effective teaching tool and is loved by the children.
Sandy Mallory has been implementing the Waldorf method with her homeschooled children since 2008. She has 4 boys with ages ranging from 11 years to 3 years old. Handwork became a passion when she learned to knit in 2008. She has taught children and adults in the areas of knitting, sewing (hand and machine), felting, and doll making.
