Please pack the following in a backpack for your child:

• Morning snack will be provided (some examples are rice, oatmeal, vegetable soup, quinoa with apples, and gluten free corn bread). If your child has allergies, please let us know.

• A healthy lunch (full day visits only)

• A blanket for rest time (full day visits only)

• Two full water bottles (Labeled with names)

• A change of clothes in a plastic or wet bag

• Boots or hard soled water shoes for the creek

  • Any shoes worn must be closes-toed; this includes creek shoes and sandals

• Rain gear if the weather calls for rain

• What to Wear? Your child should be dressed for outdoor play whatever the weather - they are playing outside!! Kindergarten starts the day outside and stays outside for the majority of the day, so account for that in dressing your child for school, especially in the morning with colder weather. Please note that it is often muddy in the Forest Kindergarten (even on dry days), so please be aware that your child may be muddy when you pick them up in the afternoon. • We ask that any clothing worn or backpacks/lunch boxes brought are free from large words or marketed characters (stamps and drawings are fine as long as they are not marketed characters).
