Kindergarten Honeybees: October 13 - 17, 2025
Dear Honeybee Families,
Thank you for volunteering your time and energy for our special Kingdom of Halloween festival. It is one of our biggest festivals so it was a huge help to have all hands on deck! We hope you and your families experienced a magical night.
Last week, the children were especially drawn to playing in larger groups in the forest, collaborating in imaginative play and creating their own stories together. The children also continued their handwork projects with growing skill and confidence. Some completed their first sewing pieces and are excited to begin something new. This process invites not only dexterity and fine motor development but also inner qualities of patience, perseverance, and mindfulness. It is wonderful to see their concentration deepen and their pride bloom as they hold up their finished work, eager to take on their next project. Some students also helped craft the vegetables for our puppet play of “Stone Soup.” Together, we made peppers, onions, potatoes, mushrooms, and more! The children watched the puppet play with delight and joined in during certain lines with laughter and joy.
As the season deepens and the days grow shorter, we are reminded of the warmth we find in one another and the beauty of shared work and play. Thank you for being part of this journey with us and for supporting your children’s growth with such love and dedication.
