Kindergarten Honeybees: May 19-23, 2025

Dear Honeybee Families,

We celebrated the last week of school with lots of love, friendship, and excitement. On Monday, the students brought books from home and eagerly read them to themselves and to each other on our platform. On Tuesday, we went to the creek for about an hour. The children loved running in the water, splashing, and digging. We also saw a nonvenomous rat snake slither by our platform. It was quite an exciting stuffie day. On Wednesday, we had Field Day! The students loved the games, especially the parachute game and looking for crochet flowers left behind by a "fairy." We also saw a snake climb a tree by our platform. It may have been the same one from Tuesday! On Thursday, we wore pajamas and silly socks. On Friday, the students in class took turns being the teacher. It was fun to see the activities they came up with.

To conclude, I would like to thank all of you for trusting me to teach your children. It has been a joy and an honor to get to love your children, and I plan on bringing the peace, happiness, and creativity I experienced at this job to my next one. I hope you all have wonderful summers and fabulous 2025-2026 school years at The Garden School or wherever else your journey is taking you.

Wishing you all a fabulous summer!

With warmth and gratitude,

Ki Peden
