Sixth & Seventh Grade: May 19-23, 2025
Hello, Middle School Families,
Our final week together went by in a blur! The year culminated with our play performance of two mysteries on Tuesday night: “Who Stole the Cookie?” and “Lost & Found”. The class did a fantastic job bringing the characters and play to life. They enjoyed playing “real roles” this year, and had so much fun embracing the accents, big personalities, and comedic lines of the characters. A big thank you to Ki Virginia for helping out with accent work and play practices. Everyone should be so very proud!
Wednesday was field day, and Heather (Asher’s mom) brought the fun! A huge thank you to her for all the planning of super fun games. It was a resounding success with everyone declaring it was the best field day in a long time. We finished the day off with popsicles.
Our Gaga ball court is finished, and the students got a chance to play a lot with it on Friday. We also spent the last day going down memory lane through our Main Lesson books and compiling their portfolios. It is always so neat to see how far along each Main Lesson book has progressed since the fall.
Thank you for the honor of teaching your children this year, and for allowing me to share the joy of learning with them. We covered a vast amount of information, had a lot of fun, and bonded together in the goofy, playful way only Middle Schoolers can do. I can’t wait to see what next year brings! Finally, thank you all so very much for the extremely generous, thoughtful, end-of-year gift. I am beyond grateful that you are all families in my class - thank you for all that you do and the support that you all provide at home. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Have a wonderful, joy filled and relaxing summer! See you in the fall!
