Fourth & Fifth Grade: May 19-23, 2025

Dear Fourth and Fifth Grade Families,

As we wrap up this beautiful school year, I want to extend my deepest and most heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you. This past week was such a joyful and meaningful way to end our time together, and it wouldn’t have been possible without your love and support. Thank you for stepping in to help, for organizing, for celebrating, and for making sure that the students felt the magic of these final days. From delicious feasts to fun games, from laughs to tearful goodbyes—it was all made richer because of you.

Thank you, as well, for the thoughtful cards, kind words, beautiful flowers, and generous gifts. Every note, every gesture, every smile meant so much to me. I’ve read and reread your messages, and they’ve truly touched my heart.

I cannot begin to express how much I will miss your children. It has been an incredible joy and a true honor to teach them this year. Watching them grow—academically, emotionally, socially—has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. Their curiosity, their creativity, their boundless hearts… these children are extraordinary. They have made me laugh, made me reflect, challenged me, inspired me, and filled our classroom with so much warmth and love.

They are the reason I believe in a better future. Their compassion, their empathy, their caring natures, and their deep capacity to love are what give me hope in this world. They are the ones who will go on to make meaningful change, to create, to lead, to nurture, and to lift others up. I truly believe the world is brighter because of each and every one of them.

Please do keep in touch. I have promised to be at their high school graduations, and I mean it with all my heart. These bonds we’ve formed matter, and I would be so honored to continue to witness their journeys, in whatever ways I can. My family and I will be around this summer, and we would absolutely love to meet up if you’re in town—whether for a walk, a cup of tea, or simply to say hello.

Thank you again for entrusting me with your most precious gifts this year. It has been the greatest privilege to be a part of your children’s lives.

With deepest love and gratitude,

Ki Paulyna
