Sixth & Seventh Grade: March 31 - April 4, 2025
Hello, Middle School Families,
I hope that everyone had a wonderful and relaxing Spring Break and is returning with energy for the final leg of the school year! Thank you to everyone who joined us for Grandfriends’ Day! It was lovely to see families, and the student presentations were a joy to see across the Grades.
The week before break, the class studied the properties of magnetism. This section of the Physics Block was more interactive, with a lot of activities to help students explore magnetic properties, such as what magnets attract and repel and their north and south seeking poles. Class discussions led to excellent questions, and it was wonderful to see the students’ delight and joy in exploring the properties of magnetism. We even tried our hands at a few magic tricks, such as suspending a paper clip in mid-air or removing paper clips from a jar of water without getting our hands wet.
