Dear Joyful Beginnings families,
It has been a lovely week in Joyful Beginnings. We could feel in the air that Lady Spring will arrive shortly. When Father Sun shined sunlight into the forest, it made our play area so magical. The children had so much fun playing in nature. On Tuesday, one friend found a mommy and a baby salamander under tree trunks. All the other children were so curious and wanted to pet and take care of the salamanders. We also saw many carpenter bees flying around flowers and helping the plants to grow.
Last week, we introduced wet felting to the children. On Tuesday, the children wet-felted red balls, and on Friday, they wet-felted little purple balls. It was a new experience and everyone tried their best to roll little balls in their hands. These wet felt balls will be put together as cherries and grapes as part of our class auction project. Our auction project has been going really well. Thank you for your generous donation and participation. We can’t wait to see the finished product.
Last Monday was Piper’s birthday. We were so happy to celebrate this special day with Piper, her family, and all her friends. Thank you for sharing yummy treats with us. This week, we will tell a sweet story about an itsy bitsy leprechaun to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
