Dear Joyful Beginnings families,

Welcome back to school! We’ve missed everyone and we were so happy to see our friends. The children gave their friends big hugs and told us about their fun experiences during the break.

We enjoyed the warm weather and the sunshine earlier in the week. The children were so excited to play in the forest. They pushed the big trucks, climbed the tree, and cooked in the mud kitchen. Near the end of the week, there was some more rain which helps to keep our mud supply plentiful. We also took a nature walk to the farm and fed our animals some vegetables. Finally, we started our spring circle and spring story, “The Spring Adventure of Fluffy Tail the Rabbit”.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, we mixed a golden sun color and a blue sky color while watercolor painting. The children were so delighted and amazed to see the colors mixed together and turn into the color of the green grass. On Tuesday, we celebrated our friend Clark’s birthday and enjoyed a yummy treat to celebrate. Piper’s birthday is on Monday, March the 6th and we are looking forward to celebrating this special day with her and her family. Happy Birthday to all our birthday friends!
