Dear Joyful Beginnings Families,
We really appreciate your participation in our spring auction! Thank you so much for attending; the event was a huge success. Your continuous support helps us build our community bigger and stronger.
The children had an amazing time playing in the forest last week. They were climbing the tree ladders and hanging on the large vine, and several of them were capable of climbing trees on their own. In our classroom, walking on the stumps is still a popular activity. We have noticed that the majority of the kids could jump using both feet. They have made significant progress in their gross motor skills during this school year. We truly love to see the children immerse themselves in imaginative play in nature and listen to each of their unique stories. In the classroom, the children enjoyed painting with watercolors. They are able to concentrate on their paintings and have gained better control over the paint brushes.
This week, we will start a fun project where the children can adhere dried flowers to thin wood. This activity allows the children to work with creative art materials, practice following multiple-step directions, and further develop their fine motor skills. On Thursday, we are going to celebrate Barrett's birthday. We are very excited to share this special moment with Barrett and his family!
