Weekly Highlight September 2024: Georgia GOAL

No donation is too small!

A significant portion of our annual operating budget is underwritten by a variety of fundraising efforts. At this time of year, we ask your family to consider participating in Georgia GOAL-our most important fundraiser of the year.  Through your participation, our school receives funds to help our financial assistance program, and you receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on your state taxes. We ask for 100% participation and we are grateful for each expression of support!

  • The Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program is an incredible opportunity for Georgia taxpayers to play an invaluable role in supporting private K-12 education.

  • All Georgia taxpayers are eligible to receive a 100% state income tax credit in exchange for their contributions to Georgia GOAL.

  • Funds raised through GOAL are used to provide tuition assistance for students desiring to attend our school.

  • It's a win-win situation, where you can make a meaningful contribution while fulfilling your tax obligations.

  • The overwhelming success of the GOAL program speaks volumes about its importance. Year after year, demand surpasses the allocated cap of $120 million within the first business day of the year.

  • This leads to proration of all applications, as witnessed in 2024 when applicants received only 63% of their requested amount due to oversubscription. We anticipate a similar scenario for 2025.

One hundred percent participation from our parent, board, staff, and faculty community demonstrates engagement and support for the school, and in this spirit, no donation is too small.  We are grateful for each expression of support!

Georgia GOAL for Business Owners – Why it Pays (Even More) to Participate

Business owners are able to direct funds at a higher rate than individuals.  Businesses are also able to save more by making this type of charitable contribution.  If you or someone you know owns a business, please consider helping The Garden School.
