Specialty Highlight January 2025: Music
In the Fourth through Seventh Grade classes, we have been focusing on music notation, specifically pitch notation. The students have been introduced to the grand staff and will soon be able to identify any note on the treble and the bass clef. We have a little more review to do and a few more games to play to help students solidify these concepts. The classes have taken this knowledge and applied it to the sheet music for the song Light is Returning, which they enjoy singing. They have started playing the song on the bells, too. We have been enjoying keeping the school ringing with music!
