Kindergarten Turtles: March 30 - April 3, 2026
Greetings, Turtle Families,
We hope you all enjoyed a restful Spring Break! The week leading up to the break was a busy and joyful one. It was so lovely to have all of our Grandfriends join us on Wednesday. The children were excited to welcome their special guests for Grandfriends Day and took great pride in sharing their classroom.
On Tuesday morning, we spent time doing some spring cleaning in preparation for our guests. The children were especially excited to clear everything from the platform, sweep and dust, and carefully return each item to its proper place. There is such a wonderful, fresh feeling that comes with cleaning and caring for our space, and the children truly take ownership of our classroom. They feel a strong sense of accomplishment as they work together to make it beautiful.
On Wednesday, we celebrated Evers’ 5th birthday. His parents visited our classroom to celebrate with us. Happy Birthday, Evers!
The week also brought gorgeous spring weather, and we made the most of our time outdoors. Before the break, we wrapped up our “Spring is Coming” circle, and this week we will begin a new spring circle. This circle includes a cooperative activity called Little Bird, Fly Through My Window, which the children always enjoy.

Announcements and Reminders:
Our creek days have begun. If you have not yet sent creek shoes to school, please do so. Children cannot go in the water if they do not have their creek shoes.
Hope Blooms Annual Auction is on April 24 at 6:00 PM, and we truly need every family’s support. As a key fundraiser for our school, your presence and participation make a meaningful difference for our programs, faculty, and students. This year’s event will feature a lively evening with dinner, drinks, music, and a live paddle raise for class project available only to those attending. Early-bird tickets are available through April 17 (adults only). Consider booking your babysitter so you can enjoy a relaxed, carefree evening. We hope to see every family there!
