Joyful Beginnings: April 27 - May 1

Our week’s theme was BIRDS. This week I saw several Northern Cardinals, waxwings, and brown thrashers looking for seeds and worms in my backyard. There are several hawks or falcons gliding around the skies looking for prey. A few birds I recognize from the sounds they make: owl hooting and woodpecker knocking. I hope you have had a similar experience spotting the birds we have around us. You can keep looking for new birds as you go outside or watch outside through the window.

This week we posted a song and video about birds. We will keep on posting them for your child’s enjoyment.

Next week, we will reach out to you by phone to quickly check how you are doing.

Today I visited the Garden School and found one flower that our kids planted when we were still back in the school (see the photo below)! Last time when we saw it, the flower was just a bulb in the ground. The school territory is so nice and green now and such a beautiful place to be.

It’s hard to believe that we are approaching the end of our school year. We have been missing our class and the children!
