Kindergarten Beavers: March 6-10, 2023

Greetings Dear Beaver Families,

Our week was very full and peaceful. The days went by so seamlessly. The children are really living into our morning circle and singing the songs over the course of our day as they are playing and working. There was plenty of large shelters in our forest this past week. Students worked together to build a wooden home in the back next to the stream and another one closer to the platform. There are now multiple cozy corners and shelters where students have been huddling inside, using them for imaginative play.

Handwork continues to be in popular demand. We now have a basket full of wool roving and felt available and the students are inspired to create crafts or their own design. This past week we had a lot of ladybugs, birds, butterflies, a cheetah, and even a smiling cucumber crafted! Thank you for providing vegetables for our soup Friday. We had a colorful assortment and the students worked hard peeling and chopping them. They were delighted to see how lovely the chopped vegetables were once they were all mixed together.

As always, thank you for all that you do and for sharing your precious children with us!

Warmly,

Ki Fatima
