Dear Joyful Beginnings Families,
We had such a wonderful week in Joyful. We welcomed back our students and we were so happy to see everyone. We started our new spring routine with students beginning their day once again on our small playground. The morning weather was beautiful and the children could not wait to play with their friends. As we move to our forest areas, we notice how the sunlight enters the forest and the rays of light pass through the trees, making our play area warm and magical. The children’s laughter and the birds’ singing created a harmonious melody.
On Monday and Tuesday, we painted with watercolor. The children continued to enjoy mixing colors, and some created pictures of a spring flower garden. On Thursday, we visited the animals on our farm. The children petted the goats and chickens and shared delicious vegetables with them. On Friday, we celebrated our friend Colin’s birthday. Happy Birthday!!!! We were very happy that Colin’s mom and dad joined us and brought us yummy cookies for a snack. Thank you!
Last week, we finished telling the story “Mary’s Spring Walk”. The children participated in the puppet show and enjoyed being a part of it. This week, we will introduce a story about a boy helping his mother plant seeds in the spring garden, and we will add a cute caterpillar song to our circle time.
