Greetings, Turtle Families,

We had a beautiful week in the forest and our indoor classroom. The children enjoy the changes that the weather brings to our outdoor classroom. They love finding ice to collect, break, and incorporate into their imaginative play! The children continue to deepen their friendships; it is so nice to hear the conversations they have with each other throughout the day. As the year goes on, we see evidence of their growth in how they play, talk, and work things out with each other. It is such an honor to spend each day with them.

Thank you to everyone who attended the parent night on Tuesday evening. Zoom is not the ideal way to get together, but I hope you all found it beneficial.

Each spring semester, we are excited for our older students, who may rise to First Grade next year, to begin our Golden Knights program on Monday, January 22nd. All Golden Knight’s parents received an email explaining the program. Please reach out to me via email if you have additional questions.

Announcements and Reminders:

The first Community Work Day of the Spring Semester is on Saturday, February 3rd, from 10:00 - 12:00. Please come if you are able, and add to your volunteer hours! Children are welcome, and there are typically both indoor and outdoor tasks available.
Please also plan to join us for the All School Meeting on Saturday, 2/3, at 12:30. A soup lunch will be served at noon, and the meeting should be around an hour to an hour and a half long. The meeting is a grownups-only event.
Conferences will be on Thursday, February 8th, and Friday, February 9th. Please sign up for a conference spot here.
