Our week’s theme was farm animals, which is a theme that is very close to my heart. I spent many free days of my childhood in the countryside at my grandparents’ farm. Our farm had all types of farm animals you can imagine: cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, a dog, a cat, and even some mice. Except for the mice, each of these animals had their own name.

Spring is a busy time for country people. Everyone has lots of work in the field, around the house, and on the farm. Spring is also the time when many farm animals have babies like in this week’s story, “Surprise in the Farm”.

This week we added a new video with a song about animals that is very familiar to our children. One video is about turtles and the other is about farm animals. This week will also be adding more audio and video recordings of our songs for you to use as you wish.
