Dear Joyful Beginnings families,

This week our activities centered around forest animals. We met a father mole who searched for his lost son in the forest, a squirrel, a duck, a fawn, and a sleeping bear.

The story of the week is from a book my mother read to me at bedtime when I was a child. I am very fond of this book because it reminds me of my childhood. We are curious to hear: what was your favorite childhood book?

Ki Ieva and I would like to invite our students to a virtual Zoom meeting on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. to round off the school year before we head out into summer break. Ki Ieva will post the invitation separately in our Google classroom. There will be a story, an activity, and the opportunity to say hello and see how everybody is doing.
