Kindergarten Beavers: September 20 - 24

Greetings Dear Beaver Families!

On Monday, we celebrated the sixth birthday of our sweet Isabella. It was a rainy but beautiful little ceremony in the forest.  The children were fascinated by the birthday wheel and listened intently as her parents shared stories from Isabella’s life. There were a lot of smiles!

Although the week started out rainy, the last couple days were bright and sunny. The students made beaded necklaces and there were several “restaurants” serving a variety of foods, while in other parts of our forest, the children were busy building fairy houses. On Friday, the children saw a puppet show about a mother raincloud who was searching for the perfect patch of ground to drop off her little raindrops. Mother raincloud finally came upon a forest with a bare patch of ground where, one by one, she let her raindrops fall. All the raindrops joined the earth, except one little raindrop who held tightly to mother raincloud. After a little encouragement, the brave raindrop let go and when she landed on earth, she hugged a little seed that was buried deep inside the earth. As a result, a beautiful yellow, golden sunflower bloomed. The sunflower shared her seeds with the birds of the forest who scattered the seeds until little sunflowers bloomed all over the forest.

Thank you for sharing your precious children with us. Hope you all have a wonderful Autumn break!
