Greetings Dear Families,
It’s hard to believe that our first semester has already come to an end! We finished off the last week before our Winter break with a lot of different festive activities. The children made pomanders with tangerines and cloves; it was a very fragrant and fun activity for the children. Students were very creative with the design- some decorated with faces and spirals and some even named their pomander.
The children painted their own wooden sleds bright red, like the red sled in the story they have been listening to over the last two weeks about a brother and sister named Finn and Salma.
On Thursday, students decorated their own cookie stocking and fashioned it with colorful sprinkles.
As always, thank you for all that you do! Have a lovely Winter Break!
Reminders & Announcements:
Please remember to pack a warm blanket for your child if they are full day when they come back from break.
As we begin the new semester, please be aware Ki Fatima will be away the first week back from school through January 11th. Ki Annabelle will lead the Beaver class with Ki Samantha, a familiar substitute teacher, assisting for that time period. During that week, please direct any questions to Ki Annabelle at annabelle@thegardenmarietta.org. Thank you!
Peace and Gratitude,
Ki Fatima
