Kindergarten River Otters: April 18 - 22

Osiyo, River Otter families,

Thank you to everyone for your attendance and help with the auction. It was a beautiful, fun, fantastic event to help support our school.

The students had a wonderful week with Ki Kim and Ki Becca. The week was filled with building and magic. Students worked hard building forts, bridges, obstacle courses, and simple machines. They also made a home for their carpenter bee friends, Woody and Zoomy. The forest was filled with warrior princesses and wizards this week, with magic wands and special powers, along with kitties and cooks at the kitty restaurant. The class also made beautiful gods-eyes with sticks and yarn, and brought them home.

I also had a lovely week with the Snapdragon class at the Waldorf School of Atlanta, though I missed our students greatly and am happy to return. I am excited to bring a few new ideas to class, along with a beautiful small wooden play house gifted to me by my supervising teacher. We will be adding a song to our spring morning circle this week, too!
