Greetings, Turtle Families,
It is the last week of school, unbelievable! Thank you all for making us feel so loved and appreciated during Teacher Appreciation Week. It has been a wonderful year, and we are so grateful to have spent it with your children in our beautiful forest. This sweet class, children and parents, has been such a blessing!
Last week, we were very busy getting the most out of the forest and our time together. We planted flowers in the pots we had painted, beaded necklaces, and completed sewing projects. The children built forts, obstacle courses, and truck ramps in the forest. We continue to observe nature emerging for the spring. We have seen some interesting fungi growing in our classroom. We remind the children not to touch any mushrooms they see growing in the forest. We saw salamanders that came up from the creek to lay eggs. The owl continues to visit our classroom; we have been fortunate to see it so frequently. The forest is such a magical place to go to school!
On Wednesday, we celebrated Elijah’s 7th Birthday. His Mom, Dad, and baby sister visited our class to celebrate with us. Happy Birthday, Elijah!
On Friday, we celebrated Emmanuel’s 7th Birthday. His Mom visited our class to celebrate with us. Happy Birthday, Emmanuel!
