Dear Fourth Grade Families,

It is always so enjoyable and insightful to talk together during conferences about how your children are doing in school and how their growth is reflected in the home. This semester, meeting in person with everyone again was an added pleasure. Thank you also for my Valentine’s bouquet! As with our class, each student brings their own uniqueness and creates a beautiful group. Thank you also for my birthday cards from the students, my gifts (love them!!), and helping to make my day that much more special. <3

Our class completed their second fractions block this past week. We continued to explore and learn about proper fractions, improper fractions, and mixed numbers through main lesson work and work in our Key to Fractions 1 book. We will finish our booklets when we return and continue to study fractions during the remaining school year.

Upon our return from break, we will begin our second Human and Animal block, which will include a research report to be worked on both at school and at home. Details will be given to students and entered into our Google classroom when we return to school.
