Dear First Grade Families,

Last week, we continued in our current math block. We are using new stories to review the four math processes, and are continuing to work on our math fact fluency using numbers 1-20.

We celebrated Zoe’s birthday last week- happy birthday Zoe! The students shared what makes Zoe a special part of our class. Some of the things her classmates admire are: she gives warm hugs, makes us all laugh, and she makes an excellent cheeky baby when playing family!

Our first graders were delighted to have our grand visitors for tea in the forest. Thank you so much for coming out to celebrate. The event was a success as the first grade continued smiling all day long!
